AdInMo is an in-game advertising platform which serves immersive brand ads without interrupting game flow (the "AdInMo Service"). AdInMo respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy will inform you as to how we collect and process user information through the AdInMo Service.
Important information and who we are
We are AdInMo Ltd. We are a company incorporated and registered in Scotland, United Kingdom, with company number SC648449. Our registered office address is 26 Dublin Street, Edinburgh, EH3 6NN, UK. When we refer to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy, we are referring to AdInMo Ltd.
This Policy is an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.
AdInMo participates in the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework and complies with its specifications and policies. Our registered vendor number is 1149.
What information we collect
When a user visits a developer mobile application that incorporates our technology, AdInMo and our partners use and deploy tracking technologies to automatically collect certain information about users and their devices.
Some of this information (including mobile advertising IDs) may identify a particular device and may be "personal data" in some jurisdictions, including the EU.
The AdInMo Services are designed to process information in such a manner that the information cannot be directly attributed to a specific, identifiable individual without the use of additional information (such as a name, address or email address).
The information we may collect includes:
- Device information, such as the device type and model, manufacturer, operating system type and version (e.g. iOS or Android), user-agent, carrier name, time zone, network connection type (e.g. Wi-Fi or cellular), IP address, general location inferred from IP address, hardware-based identifiers (e.g. MAC address), information about mobile developer apps and versions currently active on a device (but not any other apps), and identifiers assigned to a device, such as its iOS Identifier for Advertising (IDFA), Android/Google Advertising ID (AAID), or other similar identifiers ("Advertising ID").
- Information about advertisements served, viewed, or clicked, including the type of ad, where the ad was served, whether you clicked on it, and whether you visited the advertiser's website, downloaded the advertiser's app or purchased the product or service advertised.
We may also collect and process aggregated and statistical information which cannot be used to identify you.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide the AdInMo Service: We use the information to deliver, maintain, and improve our advertising services, including to deliver in-game advertisements to users.
- Ad delivery and frequency capping: To deliver advertisements to your device and ensure you don't see the same ad too many times.
- Performance measurement and analytics: To measure and analyze the performance and effectiveness of advertisements, including impressions, views, clicks, and conversions.
- Fraud detection and prevention: To detect, prevent, and investigate fraudulent activity, invalid traffic, and other illegal activities.
- Service improvement: To understand how users interact with our services and to improve our technology and offerings.
- Compliance and legal obligations: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
- AI and machine learning: We use information about advertisements served and interacted with, which may include Advertising IDs, to develop, train, test, and improve machine learning and artificial intelligence models that support and secure our advertising services, including ad delivery, performance measurement, and fraud detection. We consider this use to be within our legitimate interests in operating and improving the AdInMo Service. You have the right to object to this processing, as described in "Your rights and choices."
Legal basis for processing (EEA users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using your information depends on the specific information concerned and the context in which we collect it.
We may process your information because:
- We have your consent to do so (which you can withdraw at any time)
- We need to perform a contract with you or a developer
- The processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your rights
- We need to comply with a legal obligation
Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can do this by using the privacy settings or opt-out mechanisms provided in the mobile application, or by contacting us using the details provided below.
Where we use information that may identify a device to train or improve our AI and machine learning models, we rely on our legitimate interests in maintaining, securing, and improving the AdInMo Service, having assessed that these interests are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights. You have the right to object to this processing at any time, and we will stop unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds. We have carried out a legitimate interests assessment in respect of this processing, which is available on request.
Information sharing and disclosure
We may share your information with the following categories of recipients:
- Developers and publishers: We share information with the mobile app developers and publishers whose apps incorporate our technology.
- Advertisers and demand partners: We share information with advertisers, ad agencies, demand-side platforms, ad exchanges, and other partners involved in delivering and measuring advertisements.
- Service providers: We engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, data analysis, fraud detection, and customer service.
- Legal and regulatory authorities: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AdInMo, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
International data transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States and other countries where AdInMo or our service providers operate.
These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. However, we take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
For transfers from the EEA to countries not deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Generally, we retain Advertising IDs and associated data for a short period of time (typically 90 days or less) after which the data is either deleted or aggregated in a way that no longer identifies individual devices.
Where we use information to train or improve our AI and machine learning models on the basis of our legitimate interests, we may retain that information, or data derived from it, for the period needed to develop and improve the relevant models. Information already incorporated into a trained model may persist within that model after the source data is deleted.
Some information, such as aggregated statistical data, may be retained for longer periods for analytics and reporting purposes, but this data does not identify individual users or devices.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Right to access: You can request information about the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: You can request that we delete your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Right to restrict processing: You can request that we temporarily or permanently stop processing all or some of your personal data.
- Right to object: You can object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability: You can request a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to withdraw consent: Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise these rights, please see our Data Subject Rights Notice or contact us using the details below.
You have the right to object to our use of your information for AI and machine learning model training. You can exercise this right using the privacy settings or opt-out mechanisms in the mobile application, or by contacting us. Where you object, we will stop using your information for this purpose unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests. Information already incorporated into a trained model may not be individually retrievable; in such cases we will address your request through other appropriate means.
Opt-Out Options:
- Mobile Opt-Out: You can opt out of targeted advertising on your mobile device by adjusting your device settings. On iOS, enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device settings. On Android, opt out of interest-based ads in your Google settings.
- Industry Opt-Out Tools: You can also opt out through industry opt-out platforms such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) or the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI).
Note: Opting out does not mean you will no longer see advertisements; it means the ads you see will be less relevant to your interests.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.
However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's privacy
The AdInMo Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in their jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.
If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@adinmo.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will provide notice through the AdInMo Service or by other appropriate means.
